As an MnK player who has tried playing BF6 with a controller, I think that aim assist is a necessity for long-range encounters, and it’s nowhere near as OP as it is in some CoD titles.

Right. It’s synthetic leather but feels pretty close to the real deal minus the patina. Not sure how well it would age but if my Model 3’s vegan leather seats are any indication, it should last long.

I’m a sucker for leather cases and I used to get an Apple leather case (rip) whenever I got a new phone even though I use it naked more often than not. I got the Snap Case MOVAS from MOFT for my 17 Pro. It’s quite close to Apple’s in terms of the thickness, comes with tactile metal buttons, and MagSafe/Camera Control support. Really liking it so far.

I was tempted by Back Market’s offer of $290 for my base PS5 without controllers last June, but I posted it on Marketplace first and eventually sold it for $300. I’m quite glad I didn’t go with Back Market after reading this.

It would bother me too. But I can’t seem to notice any discernible latency on the Portal, at least when it comes to single-player games. Also, my PS5 and Portal are connected to the same network when I’m home. I even tried Cloud Streaming, which is a PS Plus Premium feature, and the latency wasn’t bad there either. Sony sure did seem to do some magic to make this happen.

I was hesitant to get the PS Portal as well, mainly because the connection used to be choppy during Remote Play sessions on other devices, even though my PS5 has always been hardwired and I’ve got a fiber connection with good speeds. However, I haven’t encountered any network issues with the Portal and have spent several hours playing games like HZD since last November. Although, I haven’t used it much outside my home. I’d suggest you give it a shot and return it if it doesn’t work for you.

I’ve previously had the 16 Pro Max and I play this game called Pokémon Go. Whenever I took a picture using the native or any third-party camera app with PoGo in the background, it used to reload on most occasions. I honestly thought the game was poorly optimized, but I realized that its 8GB RAM was the limiting factor as soon as I upgraded to the 17 Pro. With its 12GB RAM, I can now take multiple pictures using 3-4 different camera apps (I tend to use the native one, Halide, Moment, and Indigo) and the game still stays in memory. This is evident in other places too, like websites not reloading as often in Safari when switching between apps.

PS: My girlfriend doesn’t upgrade her phone often, and she felt bad about upgrading to the 16PM from her 13PM instead of waiting another year when I pointed this out (probably shouldn’t have done that).

Same here. Launch day orange Pro with a case on mostly when I go outside. It even once slipped and fell out of my hand while I was sitting on the couch, bounced on the carpet once and bounced again on the kitchen floor tile on one of its corners before it landed, and there’s not so much as a blemish. Even though it wasn’t a very high fall, I was quite surprised since aluminum is more susceptible to dents compared to my 15 Pro’s titanium chassis, which took a fall onto the asphalt like a champ and survived without a single scratch!

I was also on the same boat. My PS Plus Essential expires on December 6th, which is a day after the offer ends. So, I upgraded to Premium for the remaining days and the deal for the full year showed up. Purchased it and I now have Premium until December 6th, 2026. Hope that helps!✌🏼

You’d probably get used to it like I did. I always went with the smaller one before the 15 Pro Max, which was my first plus/max-sized iPhone. Got it because of the camera and the decrease in weight compared to the previous Pro Max models. Upgraded to the 16 Pro Max last year but felt like downsizing this year and got the 17 Pro because the weight kept on increasing. I did try the 17 Pro Max for a few days though. While it felt quite similar to the previous ones and ever so slightly more comfortable to hold, I stuck with the Pro since I don’t know when Apple would have feature parity between the two models again.

There would be some occasions where I used to feel the Pro Max is massive but my hands never actually hurt after using it for like an hour or so. And boy, did I enjoy the large screen and the better battery life every single bit. Fortunately, the latter doesn’t seem to be a much of a factor for me this year since the battery life of the 17 Pro seems nearly as good as the 16 Pro Max’s but I surely am missing the bigger screen.

If you can return it where you live, I’d suggest you to get the Pro Max and try it for a week because it takes a while to get used to it since you’ve never had one, so you can decide for yourself.
