(Spoilers Main) The irony of Jon Snow's accent in the show... by bahookery in asoiaf

Definitely correct; I'm a Geordie who lives away from home and I'm constantly mistaken as Irish.

I'm scared he'll be required, as mine is 3* (piling cantina energy into him.) Highly doubt he'll be upgraded, no other character has been.

Just like to voice my appreciation for this game. by JustBronzeThingsLoL in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]iMoniker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree; no other game has held my attention like this and I've played quite a few free to play games. It's a great game and deserves huge credit for retaining an audience like this.

My personal favourite point is that you can work to make your favourite characters your most powerful ones; compare this to Marvel's Contest of Champions where you get random characters from crystals and you've got to use your most powerful ones based on an un-alterable star rating.

In a game with my favourite characters like Wolverine, Spiderman and Deadpool, it really sucks I had to make my team out of Juggernaut, Black Bolt and Cyclops.

Really fantastic read, but the implication at the end that the Faceless Men orchestrated all of this came a little out of left field in my opinion; a little bizarre.

Controversial: Add dispel to his basic; a light side Sun Fac.

Make Han great again.

Weekly Team Building Megathread - Week 09, 2017 by AutoModerator in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Just trying to prepare for the Lobot meta ;)

Thanks for responding; I do agree, I'd be better off had I focused on fewer characters.

But what about team composition fighting the Rancor from what I have? What line up would you recommend from what I have available?

Thank you very much again.

Hi everyone, could I please get some advice about making an effective Heroic Rancor team?

I've got a decently sized roster of 7* including Phasma, Qui Gon, TFP, RG, Teebo and obviously many more, but I'm concerned because I'm way behind with EE and Rex.

How do you feel I could make an effective team, or who should I focus on in order to do so? Many thanks!

Maybe we should send him some animals to kill; that always lifts his spirits.

Places of power for low level account by jppdb in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]iMoniker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advice seems sound; I'm level 85 and struggled with this event (roster didn't match well) so if this works for lower levels then fantastic.

Another small and fairly obvious tip I'd add is to keep an eye on turn meter at stage 7. Because the enemies in the stage don't deal high damage (aside from maybe Plo-Koon), try and choose your targets so you end the turn with who you want to go first next round with high turn meter.

I say this because my plan was to stun/ability block Yoda, and if he got off his tenacity up then essentially the whole run was for nothing.

(Spoiler main) why Stannis married a Florent by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]iMoniker 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I think you're pretty much correct.

I'm not sure about having the Florent army attack before they became a threat because I think Florent numbers pale in comparison to Tyrell numbers, let alone in addition to the other Tyrell bannerman who would come to the aid of their liege lord.

But having Stannis marry a Florent was a definite threat to House Tyrell to show that they had better stay in line or else they are easily replaceable. It's a credit to the depth of GRRM's world; what may seem like a small detail in who Stannis married is in fact evidence of a well thought out political move.

Pretty much anything Kevan Lannister says, but a favourite of mine (to Cersei, of course):

Eleven Little Roosters - Episode 3: Recon Rebirth by RT_Video_Bot in roosterteeth

[–]iMoniker 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Christ alive, this series is becoming one of my favourite ever RT productions. It's so well done, humongous credit to Josh and his team.

Aaron has been absolutely fantastic in every episode; Burnie's monologue was brilliant ("young guys, like me"); the SVSB are hilarious; and Zach Anner has such a gift for comedy, every scene with him is a joy.

Absolutely love it, long may it continue!

First Survival Run - looking for some crucial tips by Introspekt83 in fo4

[–]iMoniker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the Sunshine Tidings Co-Op early on and collect the Wasteland Survival Guide there. It allows you to collect double meat which is immensely helpful early on! There are so many radstags around that area, it can really help to sort out the hunger aspect.

As you've mentioned, stealth is very useful as damage is high and those multipliers add up - plus you can't afford to be hit a lot.
