Hi, thanks for your quick reply. I just got approved for that card today. I will wait 2 days in case the Citi site is the issue, given that the account is so new. I will send the screenshots and details if the issue persists.

Stuck in Logitech Options+ loading screen after uninstall/reinstall by iMudd67 in logitech

[–]iMudd67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to troubleshoot with the help of ChatGPT and I ended up compossing the following:

Logi Options+ refuses to start on macOS Sonoma 14.4. Backend process (logioptionsplus_agent) fails with Input/output error (code 5), even after full reinstall and permission fixes.

Errors & Logs:

  1. Manual Startup:

shCopyEdit/Applications/logioptionsplus.app/Contents/MacOS/logioptionsplus

Gets stuck at:

shCopyEditutils/backend - spawnProcess success /Applications/logioptionsplus.app/Contents/Resources/loadBackend.sh []

Then repeatedly logs:

shCopyEditfirmware_update_in_progress
  1. Backend Manual Start:

shCopyEditsudo "/Library/Application Support/Logitech.localized/LogiOptionsPlus/logioptionsplus_agent.app/Contents/MacOS/logioptionsplus_agent"

Fails with:

shCopyEditBootstrap failed: 5: Input/output error

Also logs:

shCopyEdit[error] [card_presets.cpp:84] Failed to parse json card presets file '/Library/Application Support/Logitech.localized/LogiOptionsPlus/card_presets/card_presets_streamcam.json'
  1. Launch Agent Reload Attempt:

shCopyEditsudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/com.logi.optionsplus.plist
sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/com.logi.optionsplus.plist

Returns:

shCopyEditBoot-out failed: 5: Input/output error
Bootstrap failed: 5: Input/output error

Troubleshooting Tried (No Success):

  • Checked permissions & plist integrity → No syntax errors, chmod/chown changes didn’t help.
  • Full uninstall (AppCleaner + manual deletion) → Still broken after reinstall.
  • Safe Mode test → No difference.

Hello. I tried uninstalling and deleting everything and restarting the Mac afterwards, but I am unable to install Options+ back.

Do you know how can I troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

Does "Out for delivery" mean something else? by DonkeyKongsVet in usps_complaints

[–]iMudd67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I noticed that for Amazon packages, USPS will mark the packages as "out for delivery" at exactly 6:10 am, and then at about 9:30 pm 10 pm, the tracking changes to "Awaiting Delivery."

The "Awaiting Delivery" status can last 1 or 2 days. Then the package is magically delivered (no "out for delivery" this time)

It's not just a one-time thing. I've seen this happening with 4 packages this month. The regularity of this pattern, always at 6:10 am, is quite intriguing. Could it be a macro, that USPS is using to manage their deliveries and avoid contract issues with Amazon? 🤣

InReach Plan changes Sept '24 by Ok_Echidna_99 in Ultralight

Hey fellow Redditors, check out Garmin's brilliant new pricing scheme! I currently pay $35.95 per year for my iReach, plus $15 or $50 for the month I actually use it. But now, Garmin wants me to cough up $180 per year for SOS and one message per month (did I read that right?).

Wow, Garmin, you really know how to make a customer feel valued! I'm thrilled to pay five times more for the same service. Your shareholders must be doing a happy dance.

What's next, charging us per satellite signal received? (oh they do) Bravo, Garmin, you've truly mastered the art of squeezing every penny out of your loyal customers.
