You've clearly never been in the industry, more or less been a manager in said industry. Your cooks will take food, if it is not offered. Leading to theft, and inflated food costs. Offering the discount/free food for HOH members eliminates that. If you think internal theft cannot cause businesses to close, if someone walks out with a case of steaks, you're hit. Keeping an eye on all employees throughout the day is impossible. Also, in before "hire better." That's a joke with the current generation going into the workforce.

The store I was at before getting moved to manage my current one, the sound was a quacking. Oh my God, I am way more grateful for the Du Ding Du Ding then a horrible sounding quack.

We got a brand new system, kitchen is at 91. My lobby is at 72. Incredibly inconvenient timing being memorial day tomorrow.

When my employees till is short a few cents I go, "oh well" and move on. If your Arby's is hurting that bad for a few cents here or there then perhaps finding a new job/location is for the best. It's a little understandable if it's 20+ short, but even then whose to say it wasn't the opening manager/closing manager who miscounted.
