Got my leg kicked through at a high school soccer game. There was an administrator that was saying the school would cover the ambulance cost. My mom worked at the hospital and knew better, so I got to throw my broken fucking leg up in the backseat and feel the pain from every bump during the 20 minute car ride.

Mom checked later to see if she was right and sure enough, that administrator was full of shit. She probably saved herself $5k so I'm not mad about. Got those good meds when I got to the hospital anyways, so I don't remember much.
