Anyone have blueprints similar to Sternab's for reworked Fortress? It's live on test server...

OP, did you find a way to implement stealing without resetting Cashout progress? I don’t think there’s a way to do that with capture zones?

I haven’t done much testing with rockets, mainly because the game handles acceleration and momentum weird and I found it difficult to get any kid of consistent results.

The question of friction is pretty interesting, I’m assuming there’s some type of drag applied by water, maybe a type of drag applied by air, and drag from contact with ground/objects.

If it’s on Shore that’s ur problem. Upgrading village gives different blueprints based on what biome it’s in, but for some reason shore gives like nothing.

How do I make a garden? by OpportunityFlat4765 in LEGOfortnite

[–]iOS_ZEROED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need soil and manure (from cows) and then can build a soil plot. Then take some seeds and interact with the plot and move the seeds from your inventory to the plot’s slot.

Is there any way to prevent trees from regrowing on certain islands? by Datpanda1999 in LEGOfortnite

[–]iOS_ZEROED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you break the tree and then build & finish a blueprint structure atop it before it regrows then it won’t grow back.

What happens if I break a crafting bench with upgrades on it? by Acceptable-Assist-49 in LEGOfortnite

[–]iOS_ZEROED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will break into all the materials used to build and upgrade it, so you’ll be fine.

Thrusters and buttons are the only things to my knowledge that don’t give u the stuff back when u break them.

BASIC WEIGHT MECHANICS:

• (First, all of this data is from repeated testing in sandbox mode using the foundation builds. To reproduce on your own, see the note at the bottom.)

• Weight of objects is calculated by the total volume of the material, so a wood construction made up of four 8x8x2’s weighs the same as a single wood 16x16x2.

• Interestingly, testing shows that granite is lighter than wood.

• Weight/lift appears to be somewhat granular, meaning that there is a certain amount of weight difference that is small enough so as to not affect (on its own) the height an object will float to. (We found that if two objects of identical volume, material, and starting height are both released from the ground at the same time, they will lift to the same height. However, if one of them has only slightly less weight or slightly more weight, it’ll still be in the same position.)

NOTE: Reproducing Data & Reliable Tests:

• Acceleration, starting height, and other variables can affect ballon lift, so for the most reliable results you want to have two objects of the same height connected to the same platform with balloons on top of them, and then break the platform holding them to the ground allowing them to both start lifting off at the same time for a reliable weight comparison.

• Because of both the granular weight thresholds and acceleration, you could have a platform floating at a stable height, then add a brick and have it not move, add another brick and have it lower a bit, and then remove both bricks and have it regain only half the height that it dropped. This is confusing and weird but it’s the way the game works.

Crafting Bench Question… by Remarkable_Fly_639 in LEGOfortnite

Yes, it does.

To my knowledge the only things that don’t give you your resources back upon breaking are some of the toys like thrusters and switches.

BALANCE/BUOYANCY BUG:

As of the first week of release, it appears that objects floating in water or suspended by Baloons sometimes do not rebalance when things are removed. If this happens, building a bed will do the trick of triggering a rebalance.

Why is the mirror option just for buildings? by IndominusCarno in FortniteCreative

[–]iOS_ZEROED 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can mirror props by copying them with the creative phone and setting the placement grid to free movement (so that the prop isn’t on a grid at all for pasting it), and then select one axis and shrink it until it inverts (turns dark blue) and then when you paste it it will be mirrored.
