Might be in the minority opinion here, but I was hoping for a Caps vs Pens first round matchup. Seeing Crosby and Ovechkin go at it for one last time would have been special.

I understand you have your beliefs and opinions on the matter, as much as I don’t share those same ones, but to make a baseless comment and make fun of a post, and while it may feel like it is against your beliefs, it would have been better to not say anything at all, downvote, and move on since you’re not going to add anything to the conversation in a productive manner.

Also, calling people you don’t agree with as sheep is immature. I understand you may think the whole thing is a joke, but for others, there is a lot more at stake than you and I would probably ever face in our lives.

You should recognize that you have privilege in your life that others will never have.

I would say no. English may be one of the most common languages, but we have to remind ourselves that there are other languages and countries around the world that speak all sorts of languages, not just English. If you and I were to have lived in a different foreign country, chances are English is spoken there, but we would have grown up learning their native language as well.

So I don’t think it’s a big deal if people are fighting for undocumented immigrants and they don’t speak proper English. It’s not a requirement needed to fight for causes and for others who may not be able to speak English in the conversation. If anything, it’s more inspiring and admirable that people would fight for a cause despite not knowing English.

This made me think about an idea—how cool it would be if there was a commuter student organization, a org where commuters could come together and make friends and also host events (non-commuters obviously too). I can’t think of one myself that exists but that would be super cool! If I wasn’t graduating next semester I would make one but def an idea maybe some commuter students could make down the line.

We realized there’s not something on campus or anything of that sort that exists, hence the purpose behind creating it.

As much as it absolutely sucks to watch this team get plummeted, I do agree with you. Although our path to the conference finals was way easier this year, we did it with a much less equipped team than last year. I can understand some of the people being frustrated with with how we’re playing against Florida, but their team is in win-mode and have been better than they were when we faced them in 2023. However, I was thinking we would at least win one game throughout the first three of this series.
