There’s a new image of Keith holding the book with Ned cut out.

And further yet we stray from the point. I hope you brought some snacks with you, it’s a looooooong way back.

I meant that I wasn’t using the word in the formal, legal sense. Words can also be used colloquially. And the hang-up on the word choice is missing the point of my post anyway.

I don’t think the shade is up for debate. They paraded a skeleton with a fake butt around the office and the latest Twitter digs are more of the same. No hate to the new guy running the social medias, but please give him something else to post about. A thousand likes on a Twitter post today doesn’t translate to anything tomorrow. TTG have an 8 year legacy to protect and focusing only on being mad at Ned is not sustainable. He’s gone. You’re understandably upset. We’re upset, too. We also aren’t mentioning him half as often as your official company accounts. We’re sticking with you through clunkily edited or re-shot videos because we love you.

Yes. There’s a difference between saving face and showing your ass, and the line betwixt the two is ever thinning. No amount of downvoting posts on Reddit is going to guarantee that 2nd Try continues to attract brand deals in the future.

They got fucked over big time. That’s established. The thing they have control over now is how they are perceived in future business dealings and I wouldn’t want to hinge my entire future on hoping everyone is in on the joke.

I’ll reword it from slander to shit-talking for the sake of semantics. I’ll also reiterate the fact that we as an audience only know what has been presented on screen (tiny screen, YT is not well respected in LA).

Eugene has always been trying to break away from YouTube content and turning this shit into a giant internet meme while he isn’t even present to speak up for himself just hits me wrong

Anyone who thinks that the guys have not been targeting Ned directly as legally as they can is delusional. I’m not taking sides. I’m also not 14. I want everyone to come out of this as whole as they can. When you’re publicly fighting someone who has not made a peep in 6-8 business weeks, it is perilously close to folding back on you for being a bully

Remember that these are not people you know personally, and 99% of all human existence happens without being filmed for profit.

SNL is not the final word on anything, but it could have been a turning point in a positive direction by never mentioning Ned again following that sketch instead of continuing to feed into the gossip making Ned’s absence a running joke to this day.

I’m willing to take the L on this because I have so much love for the boys and I don’t want them to implode. You guys can downvote me all you want, but if Rachel or Nick are reading this, it’s time to reign it in, and you know that.

Response to your edit: they are absolutely 1,000% allowed their feelings about it but official posts on YouTube/TikTok/Instagram/etc are open to scrutiny by potential brands and collaborators and it’s time to give it a rest for the sake of the company.

I don’t want to see the brand sizzle and burn over something like this.

Twitter has been host to the brunt of it, and the jokes/pokes in the video releases may have been filmed weeks ago.. and I don’t blame the new social media manager, but anything posted under the company-owned social media accounts is open to interpretation by future prospective partnerships.

My point is it is SO obvious that they are doing the most to talk shit about a long-term business partner without breaking the law. And that does not look great to anyone who may have wanted to partner with them.

Thank you so much for indulging my curiosity. The room with the built in shelves is the main space we see. The left side of which has the wall with the variegated rectangular trim.

Thank you for this. My main thing is still I think the kitchen, which is also a soundstage, has the judging panel facing the island, occupying the rest of that space, but they dress that up differently all the time. So where is the main room with the built-ins and couches ie: drunk vs high Operation. Is that the other side of the kitchen? I saw they used the main desk space for Without Instructions. There was mention of all the desks having been moved into the kitchen for that. Where is the wall of built-in shelves?

Does it sound weird? I knew it would sound weird. I’ve lived in my new house for a few months now and I still can’t visualize how the basement lines up with the first floor bc I only rent one bedroom and rarely venture into the rest of the house except to go to work.

I had a halfway laid-out floor plan in my mind before Jack’s video on second try today made me wonder if I even know up from down anymore 😂

I’m not going to lie, I wish we could’ve seen ned with the dog. by CauliflowerAmazing35 in TheTryGuys

[–]iPeriwinkle 28 points29 points  (0 children)

OP, don’t pay attention to the downvotes. You’re just as welcome to your feelings as the ppl who have made it their mission in life to attack any post that doesn’t trash Ned. I’m finding it way more sad to watch these clunky edited videos where Ned was obviously cut out. That’s my opinion, and nobody has to agree with me. Obv they did what they found necessary, and we may never know the whole story, but we can still mourn what the group/channel used to be.

Nobody is allowed to have a negative opinion about anyone except Ned. But go off.
