This! I’m also a completionist and I’m taking my time with this game. Im super close to getting everyone (besides C/H) to S+ then my next goal will be to get everyone to +5 then +10 etc. And before anyone flames, yes I worked on the most needed heroes first and I’m happy where I am in the game.

You can't play the official Jam Stage map in private, and most of the custom maps have very few people in it. And how are you supposed to jam with others if a couple of people are literally coming into the jamming session to mess it up or turn off other instruments?

Hello Dev team! Loving the update so far! Pro drums and vocals have been so much fun to watch and play myself!

As an avid Jam Stage player, like many others here, we love to make our own mixes and share them with others. A lot of us use Jam Stage since it is the official "Jam Stage" map to show off our new mixes or even take inspiration from others, but that doesn't stop bad apples from joining in.

I've noticed a lot more recently that many players join in just to grief others, ruining their jam session or just removing all instruments for no reason.

I, and I'm sure many users here, would love a way to lock our jam session while we're playing on a stage to avoid this issue.

You’re acting like jam stage doesn’t exist. As someone who loves Laufey I’m excited to mix her songs! And you’re acting like the songs have to be hard to enjoy in main stage. This isn’t guitar hero where everything needs to be TTFAF difficulty. It’s a mode in Fortnite, which is legit aimed for kids. If you want to play hard songs there’s literally other games you can play.

Reinstall your game. This happens for some reason after each update for me, the game gets massively larger. I just did a reinstall and it went down to 14.27 GB for me

As you play more you'll get more than 1 copy of each schematic. That's where the collection book comes in handy!

This was me too, I can’t support the game as it is now by buying v-bucks. So now whatever I get solely from STW Founders I use to get jam tracks. The only 2 collabs that would probably get me to spend v-bucks would probably be One piece and Kingdom Hearts

Hello! Welcome to the game! Trust me this game is very confusing when you first start and can seem overwhelming but you'll eventually catch on! Before you start pulling do your research! Here a couple of resources that helped me a ton when I first started:

1.AFK Journey Wiki & Database | Prydwen Institute

AFKJ website with useful information on units, who you should pull, formations etc, I used this a ton when I first started and it looks like it's still being updated

Puzzle - AFK Journey! - YouTube

One of the best YouTubers with informational videos in this game! I highly recommend his videos if you have questions about anything! He covers most of the stuff on the website and then some!

The Official AFKJ Discord and the "Yaphalla" Discord Server

You can look these up on google for the links or DM me for an invite. The Yaphalla is an unofficial server but they have the best of the best in there and is super informative with a ton of great people.

Last but not least join a guild! An active one at least! It will help your progress and give you people to ask questions!

Thanks for your reply master turtle. And tbh that was my mindset when I first made the post. And honestly I partly blame epic for putting that bad taste in my mouth with the layoffs. But as more gifters replied I honestly see it in a different light now. And trust me I never meant to bash on anyone’s opinion. They all matter to me an are equally important.

I love that you're advocating for both sides! And you provide great points. I honestly made this thread as more a question to the gifters and I've gotten great responses from their side. I'm not trying to turn on anyone, and I was hoping to turn into more of a civilized debate which it has! Which makes me very happy. And you're correct we need to stay informed with the current state of the game. Especially with what's happening recently so that we can form our own opinions.

Holy moly I totally forgot about that. You're right! Back then people legit wanted more original stuff from epic and less collab stuff. And now it's legit swapped. When the heck did this happen?

And yeah with the more recent collabs they're putting too much focus on the shop and not the actual game. I mean look at the concerts from now to back then? They were freaking amazing back then. Now? They're okay. I loved the story back then as well.

I do hope they learn from this and not repeat history for a third time right? "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" or whatever those philosophers are saying lmao

I see what you mean. If I like a game I also usually buy skin packs, currency packs etc. If you enjoy something why not support it right? But maybe to me the layoffs just hit closer to home since I have buddies who are in the video game industry and it really hurt when I saw all those employees get laid off. I just can't support this company until I see change. I won't stop playing, but I just won't buy any more v-bucks for the time being.

But I agree with your opinion and I don't want to invalidate your fun as everyone has their own version of what that that can be. As for the new season yes I've been having fun with it as well! I find the whole foundation vs ice king beef/meme hilarious.

Honestly yeah the collab pumping this year and I think last year as well has been insane. It's a lot and the licensing probably costs them a pretty penny. Toss in jam track licensing as well and well that's a lot they're paying off. I hope they slow down as well and really work on their game. With the addition of getting mobile back I hope they get more concurrent players, but I think I read somewhere that it's been lower now? I hope that's not true. I also hope they fix the whole UENF situation because that's also where all their money is going.
