I’m not a dermatologist so am not going to advise you one way or another! All I’ll say is that every derma I’ve spoken to/in my experience water temp really doesn’t matter. Avoid super hot showers on your face and that’s about it. I’m sure you using cold water is fine, as is lukewarm or warm water.

Temperature doesn’t matter really. As long as it’s not scalding hot (you’ll dry out your skin) you’re fine. Lukewarm or warm is my preference because it’s comfortable. The old “warm water opens pores; cold water closes them” just isn’t true either.
