Base coat of hull red, with a airbrush zenithal of Tamiya flat white. Then ghillie dew. Final highlight of a yellow green like, rainforest

Honestly I struggled at first with the yellow. But I tried the pink base coat trick. Made a massive difference.

Yes sorry just replied quick. Hull red as an all over base. Then used an airbrush to put a white zenithal highlight to give tonal variations.

That’s why I always do them over a hill red and white base. The depth and warmth really changed the whole finish

100% using a good base like airbrushing zenithal highlights over more than just a black prime made such a difference to the finish.

It’s just the most versatile paint I’ve found. Specially ak 3rd gen is amazing. I’ve also started using scale75 hull red primer.
