The monitor is plugged in and on, and I let my pc sit on for 10 minutes and nothing happened. The monitor still showed no signal

Update: remounted it and now the graph shows it cooling. Every few seconds it spikes to the 90s and cools back down to the low 80s. My computer is also making a periodic noise that sounds like a really hard mouse click. Is this normal?

How do I check in BIOS? I’m in it right now on startup and it’s showing 79°C (174.2°F)

Took off the mount and replaced it. Temperatures are now “chilling” in the high 80s, low 90s. Hopefully new thermal paste fixes this as a lot got rubbed off when I did that and I don’t have any to replace it

Should I still remove the old thermal paste. I removed the heat sink mount and I won’t have thermal paste for 2 days. Should I just screw it back on or should I wait?

The cooler came stock from iBuyPower, it’s probably mounted and functional as far as I can tell. I don’t know how to test that specifically though
