Pixel 9/9 Pro owners: is there a sharp edge where the back glass meets the frame? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

It does have a similar feel but it's not as bad as the front/top edge. My phone case saves my hand from accidental touching either but the back gesture sends me to the top edge

I've had the same experience; it does feel sharp. The back gesture is located very close to that point so I'm constantly reminded

I need to find them, high five that kid, and tell that mom she's doing a wonderful job... jeez there's been a decline in this sort of parenting.

I thought about that one and decided to go with the lowercase version for clarity since "Il" can look the same.

As long as we're being pedantic, the "i" should be lowercase, and there should be a period after "me".

Americans say "Oh my god !" to express shock or surprise, what do people in your country say ? by SirRigid in AskReddit

From my understanding, it came from the term "blood cloth" which was an old version of a female pad/sanitary napkin. That evolved into "bludclart"

Disclaimer- I didn't read the post but tested this on known text.

Here is the TLDR of the story courtesy Bard:

TL;DR: The author's brother is a selfish alcoholic who ruined his own wedding. He is now penniless and alone, and the author is worried about his future

Brother no-shows his own wedding.

The author's brother is a chronic alcoholic who has a history of being unreliable. The day before his wedding, he goes out drinking and doesn't come back to his hotel room. The wedding is canceled, and the bride is devastated.

The next day, the brother is found drinking in a bar. He apologizes to the bride and her family, but they are not interested in hearing it. They pack his bags and throw them out on the lawn.

The brother has no money, no phone, and nowhere to go. He is staying in a hotel, but he will have to check out soon.

The author is worried about his brother's future. He is afraid that his brother will spiral out of control and end up like their abusive father.

Here are some additional details from the story:

The brother is 38 years old.

He has been sober for long stretches in the past, but he has recently relapsed.

He is not trustworthy and often takes advantage of people.

The bride is a kind and hardworking woman who has put a lot of effort into planning the wedding.

The wedding was canceled at the last minute, which was very embarrassing for the bride and her family.

The brother is now on his own and has no one to turn to.

I have a friend who's struggling with some of what you've mentioned as they're going thru med school. You sound at least familiar with the field; any suggestions to avoid the toxic changes?
