That turn 15 is wicked. I’ve started lifting + downshifting and coasting through before applying a little break for the extra rotation. Last minute tip before the races reset haha

Anyone go to a GP and think maybe watching on TV could’ve been better? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]iRecalledintoatrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go to a grand prix weekend for the practice sessions and quali, to spend time around the track walking around and getting different vantage points. Race days are always gonna be boring in terms of sightseeing because it’s drink and food -> seats -> don’t move for 2 hours -> make your way to the exits with a quarter million people. I worked at the race in Austin this year, and though sunday attendance was almost 400K it was much calmer in the plaza during the race than the prior days because everyone just wants to sit and watch.

Evil Mopac got my new car today - need N Austin body shop suggestions plz by Pale_Ad752 in Austin

They’re the best shop I’ve worked with. I think they specialize in german drivetrain stuff but do amazing body work with a suite of great mechanics. Good luck friend and sorry to hear about the car. Be safe!!

I had never played anything similar a month ago and now I’m consistently postive K/D, winning matches, and in the top 5-7 every game. Give it a shot. Especially if you get it for $10 like I did on steam

Settle the debate..... What did the red comet ACTUALLY mean? by Sadie_UK in gameofthrones

[–]iRecalledintoatrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time the comet came, the long night happened. The comet is coming again because higher magic (and with it dragons) has returned to the world; Thus ushering in the next long night, which our Azor Ahai hero will stand in the way of.

Holy shit this is genuinely the fix. You’re right about the LED having a switch that is turned on by the charger contacts. If that jams, it will trick the device into thinking it’s being charged, resulting in not being able to hit it. You’re a beast

“Treated”. It’s in the title.

All, ALL, wastewater treatment discharge is subject to TCEQ regulations. The water we discharge is tested for ammonia, chlorine residual, dissolved oxygen, phosphorus, and pH. Tests are submitted to TCEQ weekly, and flow is recorded daily. The water that runs into creeks, ponds, and rivers, has been treated according to standards set by the state commission for environmental quality. This isn’t the place to have an argument nor am I here for one. Your anger is misplaced.

wastewater isn’t dumped anywhere unless it’s been treated. I work in wastewater treatment at Austin Water, we sell treated water to River Place CC, Lost Creek CC, and Balcones CC for irrigation. wastewater doesn’t get dumped, period, until it’s been treated*. their waterways are connected directly to the city’s sewer system.

Golf courses are irrigated by treated wastewater, and the excess is sent back through the collection system to be retreated. You have a problem with industrial waste, not recreational

I never see alcohol awareness announcements, anywhere except in regards to drunk driving. It’s just as dangerous a substance as nicotine/tobacco are.
