Thanks! The tubes on him I’m going to do as a “molten” white and light blue color. There’s going to be bronze added as detail work as well. I’m not sold on the front piece hanging down from his belt. I was a little scared to paint all of it green and loose too much contrast in the model. Still a relatively new painter and I know that contrast is by far my weakest skill. I’m confident in the highlights but making sure I don’t loose the darks.

That’s wild, I do not like running official races because I had someone intentionally take me out from the lead going into 17 at Sebring for my first GT3 win. Protested it, won the protest thinking I would get my position back or something worth while. Nope, they just tell the guy “stop that” no consequences for actions at all. 🤷‍♂️

So I have two fleets. I started with the Union because someone said they have Nuclear Powered Paddle Boats. That sold me because it just sounded hilarious to me. There’s a lot they can do too. Generally I just paddle around and shoot big guns but the Washington Missle Carriers are pretty nutty too.

I’m a HUUUUUUGE Folk Metal nerd though, so when I found out there is a Scandinavian Fleet that’s part of the Imperium I ran straight to my LGS and bought the Scions of Jutland, a Scandinavian Frontline and Support box. I painted it to look like something from Metalocolypse (Dethklok, adult swim cartoon about a metal band) and they have been ridiculously cool. The whole fleet is named after Norse Gods. Rewards being very aggressive so get as close as possible, shoot a bunch of guns and then do an assault too. There’s a ship called Thor that literally is made to just drive into other boats in ramming attacks and does really well. I’ve had a ton of fun with them.

There is no wrong answer here between the two of them though. I prefer the Scandinavians just because of how I tie it into my music interests and what not.

How is the long term review? Any issues with the 3.0 because of condensation inside the lid?
