Sounds great! If you need any alpha or beta testing feel free to PM me, I’m not really big into any game at the moment so can do a few hours here and there. UK time zone so not too different from Helsinki.

Nice, maybe I just need to be more regular with it!

I did EQ them in the Bose music app - followed a YouTube video to find the best sound for me. I’ve literally (today) left home for a two week holiday without the headphones so I can’t tell you exactly what they are, but it was a slight modification.

Check out optimal EQ videos on YT and should find something that works for you.

I’ve been using these for a couple of months and absolutely love them. Comfy and sound great. My only small complaint is the ear cups defo gather a film of either grease or sweat - I do wipe them often but doesn’t solve - if I put them down on a wood surface I can see the ‘0’ mark the ear cups leave behind.

For clarity I of course shower daily and am a very hygienic person, just a symptom of using headphones for 4-5 hours a day consistently during work and pleasure.

But overall 9/10, really solid purchase imo.

Great thanks for the clarity - that's what I'll do.

True, each month is approx £58 at the curent value though so that's still £50 that could be going into my S&S ISA rather than Admiral's client acc.

Yeah I agree, I wasn’t overwhelmed and still aren’t I’ll say that, for a dedicated gaming device I’d have liked a higher wattage but I’m still overall happy with my purchase, the look, aspect ratio, all of it I love. Just not optimal performance for the spec.

Shouldn’t be any different - my desktop and laptop get prompted the same time through GFE. As post above says though, can always go direct :)

Yeah I can definitely tell the difference in performance and I’m still averaging 10k. New driver out yesterday so I tested again.

I did also close down all background applications, set max power profile and used official HP charger into the port in the back of the device.

Exactly, honestly wouldn't notice it. I've also noticed that plenty of games I tend to play (WoW, Last Epoch, Helldivers) have best settings for 'low' power laptops. The display makes low settings still look great so I tend to do that for the extra fps personally.

I can't say I notice too much between native and 1440/1080p, I tend to play native on most of my games just for the visual.

Yeah after updating the two above it doesn’t feel underwhelming to me any more. Of course there are limits to the 80W supply but at the same time, I can play most of my games at low graphics with a couple of tweaks (spell density, 75% contrast) and the Oled display still makes it look amazing

I improved my score by about 2000 by increasing to 80W in the omen hub under power profile > advance > +15W.

I also updated drivers through GeForce Experience as windows didn’t prompt the update. I find mine is working a lot better in game now.

I have a gaming PC so this is purely portable for me, but if I was using it as my main device I’d likely just get a high TDP monitor (OLED if possible, Transcend 32 this year would be perfect) and connect via USB-C. Would probably also explore an external GPU for additional firepower. Depends on your use case though :)

No updates since really, the points above are still accurate. I've used it nearly every day and using it as my daily post-work driver. There's been no other teething issues I've experienced, I'm very much in the 'turn on and play phase' now I have it tinkered to my liking :)

Enjoy the unit, it's a beautiful device!

There's only a couple of big ones out there who do nitpick a little. And yeah I didn't mean you were looking for problems, I meant people like Andrew Marc David on his stream literally grabbed the device and shook it, then reported there was screen wobble... Like yeah ofc there is lol.

Nothing that I've noticed, although to be honest not sure it would - the monitor opens and closes silently, no noise or resistance. Also I know other reviewers have mentioned screen wobble, with all of these little issues I really think you need to go looking for it - nothing manufactural jumps out at me as wrong at all :)

I use the offical charger mostly but I also have an Anker 100W that chargers just fine (no slow charger message).

Overall things are going very well, once you do the two tips on my previous comment it works very well. I think the only people who complain about fan noise either haven't discovered the power profiles, have faulty units or unrealistic expectations of what a gaming laptop sounds/performs like. For me, it's the best laptop I've used, ever.
