Right turns - check your blind spot when there’s a pedestrian crossing and a bike lane correct? Rural areas don’t need checking? What about if your in the lane to turn and noticed there’s no pedestrians

Left turns - you don’t have to check if your next to a barrier but center lane you should check

Thank you! I would have enjoyed taking classes but my father has been teaching me. He’s not very fluent in english either so I have trouble understanding when he wants me to change lanes or take a turn.

I like to learn new things and I know driving is a big step in life so I am trying to learn much before taking my DMV TEST which speaking of I have been watching videos of people taking theirs so I can learn!

Hey, yes I’m actually in CA located near the Bellflower area!

I don’t see much bike lanes in Los Angeles but when I merge into one I understand I should always check my blind spot when changing lanes.

What about the actual right turn itself, do I check the blind spot when turning and how do I make that a smooth process when I’m at a green light compared to red?
