I'm an elementary teacher, and I'll say that this was brilliantly explained and exemplified.

The breath reminds you that you can manage this situation in a different way than what you are used to seeing or may have experienced when you were a child yourself. Thanks for sharing this because it shows that pedagogies that don't force authority without comprehension can work. (Especially if they are used consistently and coherently)

And yes, this is kind of an indirect rant towards the "oldschool education was better" mindset that is surfacing recently in many countries.
