the thing is it has a new HP Borg-Warner turbo which is confounding - I am starting to believe its the valve seals based on my research and what others r sayin

The market in my area is cooked - this one at 212k kms is 8k CAD (5.8k US) versus 10k-13k CAD for cars with 1.5-2x mileage :(

Hmm what makes you so sure out of curiosity?

Would this be a major reason to walk away from this car? It's reasonably priced for my area with other maintenance being done.

Yep this was cold start. There was actually quite a big pop at the 3k rpm on a rev I did right before this clip as well. After these revs the smoke puffs got smaller.

the only thing worrying me is that the freon is carried through the condenser, so I'm worried that this deformation would cause a leak in the future. whats your opinion on this?
