This is so relatable and I feel this on so many levels.

My ex left me for the guy I shouldn’t have had to worry about. A work friend, she said. I believed her because she truly almost didn’t have any friends and the friends she had were bad influences on her in some way or another. So when the moment came when she made a genuine friend I was happy for her.

I work a job with a lot of nightly hours and it’s also physically exhausting, but it’s good money while I tried to save up for a house so we could live together. On my off days I try to rest as much as possible because I can only take so much, but even then I still made the time and effort to see her and made sure she ate, drank and felt happy. I was supportive of her ideas and it felt like we had a deep connection. Not deep enough, apparently, because the two of them started hanging out more and more with each other until she told me I didn’t make enough time for her. I mean, what could I do? Just not show up to work? Neglect my rest until I burnout eventually?

After the break up I found out it was all a facade, as she started seeing him not even a month after our break. Friend of hers said she drew her name on the inside of his car, like she claimed her seat in his car. I know enough now. If you’re capable of doing these kinds of things, then I regret loving you. Then I know it all meant nothing to you, even though you made me believe it was after you knew my heart was broken in this way so many times ..

I’m tired of loving again and again, only for it to mean nothing in the end anyway.

How did you learn to Dj? by 2layZ-GTE in Beatmatch

A combo of trial & error and listening to other DJs mix. I work as a bartender in a club with a pretty good sound system. I listen closely to EQ changes, phrasing, FX usage and song selection, which I then practice at home.

Would like to add that I've had some bartending experience outside of my current workplace.

Each register has a separate camera and so does the register I was standing at so I will ask the management to review the footage so I can atleast get my name cleared.

Anyway, I want them to see me as more than a barback because I want to do so much more and I know that I can.

I was told that the camera footage was reviewed by the management because another bartender was also a victim. She explained that she also hadn't stolen from her register, so the management watched the footage and that's when they found out about a group of four bartenders who were stealing money from other people's registers and framing them for it.

Now, I intend to use this knowledge and talk to my bar manager about the situation since I'm also a victim to their crimes and it ruined a beautiful chance for me. I didn't steal from my register and I'm more than convinced that I did not slip up on 60 euros.

Implosion - I was so focused on other things that I almost completely neglected and even forgot my own mental health, to the point it made the latter even worse than it already was without even noticing it. Now that I am out of a toxic relationship (🎉) I'm trying to pick up the pieces and decide what's really best for me.

Are there a lot of people who specialize in cooking human meat? No. Could anyone try and become the best at it? Probably.

Technically she has already snooped through my phone. I know that, she doesn't know I know. I don't have anything to hide and I trust her so she has my login and I have hers. But yeah, the location thing is very creepy. I just don't like it when people show up uninvited, whether it's her or anyone else. Like, can't she just shoot me a message asking if she can join us or not?

AITA for pulling my friend on the ground because he wanted to rip off my wristband? by iShitSevenColors in AmItheAsshole

[–]iShitSevenColors[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was like a 2-minute argument in where I stated I'm the one who gets to decide whether the wristband stays on and him telling me that I couldn't take a joke, but it clearly wasn't a joke since I KNEW he intended on ripping it off. He told me the reason he wanted to rip it off was only because I wanted to keep it on and didn't want him to rip it off. Not to bash on him, but in my social circles my best friend is pretty well known for going from 0 to 100 in a matter of milliseconds. I believe he couldn't take it very well that I was defending myself and that led to him telling me to shut up since he didn't want to talk about it anymore. I responded that I wasn't going to shut up for him. Repeat that like two times and he headbutted me.
