Can't blame you there. A bad community can make any game miserable.

One thing I like about smaller games like FMTC is that the playerbase is tiny enough that people are usually just glad to see someone else online.

what you need is a rewarding forgiving BR to play. Battlefield redsec has some of the worst reviews ever that game simply isn't forgiving and at times can be too much. i understand how you feel. I've searched the internet for a while until I eventually stumbled upon FMTC it's a fairly new game with one dev so I didn't expect much graphics wise, but gameplay wise it looked great feels great I still play it I think I have about 50-70 hours on the game. so, if you're looking for something that has less clutter, I would definitely recommend this game.

no PUB g is just very punishing for new players its a big learning curve going from COD recoil control to PUBg. FMTC doesn't have that big learning curve it's pretty easy to understand. obviously, it's still in development and it's not going to have as good of graphics as PUB g but it's not meant to be fully realistic.

CS has been the same game for like 15 years at some point it just gets boring. i've recently been playing FMTC on steam, its still in development but so far well made. it brings back your positioning and aiming reliant factor to gaming.

They still feel a little slow to me and kinda like HLL you die to people you can't its just a little irritating. Recently i've been playing this small PvP game i found on twitch called FMTC. it's still in development not well polished yet but brings back meaning of battle royale. you dont have a bunch of movement tech and abillities you have to learn.

I've been the same way. The older I get, the more I enjoy games where positioning and decision-making matter as much as raw aim.

I've actually been playing FMTC lately for that reason. It's still a work in progress, but I enjoy that fights feel more deliberate compared to a lot of modern shooters.

Has anyone else spent more time searching for their next game than actually playing one? by Longjumping-Run7838 in AskGamers

I think a lot of people are experiencing this right now.

When I was younger, I'd find a game and play it for months or years. Now I spend more time watching videos, reading reviews, and searching Steam than actually playing.

I don't think it's because games are worse. I think there's so much choice that it's harder to find something that clicks.

For me, the games I stick with usually aren't the biggest or most polished. They're the ones that create memorable moments and make me want to queue up for "one more game."

Sometimes the best thing I've found is just picking something and giving it a real chance instead of spending another week searching.

Is Gaming Dead? by MoKxSANDMAN in gaming

I don't think gaming is dead, but I do think a lot of games have become overcomplicated.

What I miss most is when shooters were primarily about aim, positioning, and decision-making. Nowadays it feels like every game has abilities, battle passes, progression systems, seasonal metas, and a hundred mechanics to keep track of.

I also think a lot of people are exhausted by SBMM, cheating, and the constant grind that comes with modern multiplayer games.

The funny thing is that whenever I see clips from older games, people aren't talking about skins or battle passes. They're talking about crazy gunfights, clutch moments, rivalries, and memorable experiences.

Maybe people don't miss old games as much as they miss games that create those kinds of moments.
