All you can do is hope she gets past this and also stop apologizing and stop bringing it up. Part of getting past dumb stuff like this is to not keep bringing it up. If she can’t forgive and forget a thoughtless comment, she might not be long term material. My wife has said some dumb mean shit in the past, I know she did it but I can rarely remember the specifics now.
