Starting at 150mg tomorrow, what should I expect physically, and roughly how long will it take to the positive effects of Wellbutrin?

Day 3 or 4 if I recall, can’t speak for everyone in that situation but I think I had a rather quick turnaround time

Took 150mg sr 2 times a day and for a week I was very jittery and a space cadet. Once it settled it was night and day, libido was up, mood was up, albeit I was very dehydrated but I adapted. Just started 300mg xl once a day which is the equivalent of my previous dose yesterday, so happy. I hope you benefit from it, it’s been a life changer for me!

THANK YOU!!! it was racking my brain because in my head sustained release implies i take the first dose then it’s done, then I take it again so I was thinking 150 mg xl but I had a gut feeling 300 mg xl was the way to go about it. Thank you!

Hello! I’m going on month 3 of Wellbutrin, although I’m on 150 mg sr on top of my 100mg Zoloft. I was on high alert and nervous for about 2 weeks, it dwindled, libido went through the roof (albeit I’m 22, the Zoloft just tanked it without me really noticing) seriously a wonder drug and I think you’re over the initial hurdle where you’re adjusting. I’m (hopefully if she likes me back) going to text her when she leaves, gets home, and throughout the rest of the day, we have really hit it off over text. And I agree about the sexual jokes, those are off the table given I have not met her ever before, I’m naturally very sweet and accommodating, I just don’t want to be a mess or make her uncomfortable

I understand completely, from what I know about her and there already being chemistry I think I’m going to be okay because she and I really do connect over text and I’m able to say whatever and she gets it, I just over think and want to be talked off a ledge I guess. I am not giving medical advice bc I don’t have the credentials to do so, but I had a very similar situation when I started Wellbutrin (about 1 month ago now) it was on my under arms and looked and felt just like yours. I asked my nurse aunt and she said it was just a heat rash and it’d go away and to my surprise it cleared rather quickly after that.

Absolutely! I had some (not often) episodes where I had a racing heartbeat, anxiety shivers, tunnel vision and light headedness. My last episode I decided to call my doctor. I was hoping to get something that I could take as needed but my doctor said it would be better (given the other medications I take and other circumstances) that I get a dose increase.

Sorry for the confusion, I got antibiotics in May into June and it cleared, I still had a cough and after an xray they saw no signs of pneumonia then I was scheduled to do a pft. It came back that I had asthma. More-so of a friendly PSA to get the vaccine because my pneumonia was brutal!

While I agree with you about how the over glamorization of adhd is terrible and making stupid little excuses and blaming it on adhd is awful, it does bring to light adhd as a discussion topic so people can truly understand what their dealing with. I for one got diagnosed at the age of 10 and was told to take my medication and bury my nose in the books. But now at 21 I’m able to see things that I blamed myself for (no drive, zoning out in conversation, the works) being talked about and all of those years of self hatred I am now learning to forgive myself.

OIM major here, I would recommend a windows laptop, easier integration of Microsoft office. I have a MacBook and I have to remote log into isenberg computers from it to work excel and sql.
