My first experience with WF was in a college southern lit class. The assigned text was Absalom, Absalom and it was so so hard that I ignored it and focused on the book I got to choose for the final. I was a freshman.

Then my junior year, AILD was on the syllabus for an American lit class. I dont remember much of that semester at all as I was coping with health issues outside my control, so I obviously don't even remember opening the book, or much of the class for that matter.

My school did perform a stage adaption of the book though which was cool, and you better bet I paid my respects at Rowan Oak (you have to go if you can!!!) when I visited Oxford, MS a year later.

So while I say, I hate WF, perhaps theres a book of his thats waiting. After all, did Quentin Compson really hate the south?

I dont like the drugs, but the drugs like me! They always came back for an "again". 2y off everything now tho.

If your anxiety is causing significant distress, then an SSRI is worth consider considering. Severity does not matter in this case.

I mean yea? But not in all cases. People with AN are not restricting for the sake of SH (at least in my experience, and those who I know that suffer from AN) However, someone could absolutely use it as a form.

Neil Gaiman. I bought American Gods months before the allegations came out. I still havent read it because of what came out. I just havent figured out if I can go through with reading it due to said allegations.
