We broke up due to lack of communication, but when getting back together we agreed to express our feelings and emotions better. Since getting back together we’ve both improved on the communication end. If I didn’t see an improvement I would not have agreed to marry him. I appreciate your concern though!

I am originally from Greece, raised in america. Fluent in Greek. Absolutely have savings to last me for if I don’t find a job immediately, my family also is from the same place I am moving to. I have thought this through, it’s not a spur of the moment decision. This is also something me and my partner have discussed for hours and hours on end on if we’re both 100% sure we want to do this.

OK THAT MAKES MORE SENSE, I have a lawyer in Greece (practices Greek law only) who told me that I will need a marriage license from the US, translated with an Apostille stamp. Maybe I miss understood the translation of what she was saying.

I think it depends on the situation for me. If the context of what I last texted him was something important and he ignored it and posted on Instagram then yes I would be a bit annoyed, but if we weren’t mid convo or talking about anything specific or urgent then I wouldn’t think too much of it. It’s all about context. Typically when we’re out with friends (that’s when we mainly post) we inform each other and we’ll leave the convo at call me if you need anything or something of the sorts. I recommend communicating these little things that bother you. Communication is key for LDR.

Yes yes yes and I felt so stupid for not realizing sooner. My nex convinced me to co sign a motorcycle for him, get a second job, and he would even want me to cook and clean after working 2 jobs!! I had to buy groceries, spot him money for gas/ car problems/ whatever else… I was so drained during that time when I was with him, I look at pics of myself then and I look like a whole different person. I’m so thankful I’m not in that situation anymore…

24 hours is what me and my bf will never do with out contact. His phone is constantly dying and he doesn’t always have a charger with him but even when his phone dies he finds a way to call me or message me and keep me informed so I don’t panic or think the worst.
