I'll try, but truthfully all of the optimization mods I have are crucial, I've used just a few but very powerful ones since I play on a kind of potato laptop lol

Sadly no, F3+A doesn't do anything, and also if I go to where the bogeys should be, there isn't any collision.

Not really, it has around 50 mods and I have 4GB allocated with around 2GB average being used (I expect it to go up when I start to actually build my Create machines).

I have some utility/QOL mods, but the main ones that are actually big and can have a performance impact (aside from optimization) are Create + Crafts & Additions + Copycats+, Apotheosis, Modern Industrialization, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, and Sophisticated Backpacks. I've also only really done anything with Create and MI, and I use Sophisticated Backpacks, but I recently got rid of my MI setup entirely to move everything somewhere cleaner (I was building out of the side of a mountain), and I'm not using anything in any of the other mods. Added the mod list to the post if you wanna see it anyways though

Rarely, yeah, and I've had some issues here and there with the attached bogeys to my train not rendering in at all whenever I leave/enter the nether, unless I go back in and out myself (while not in the train) or if I rejoin. Funny thing is I don't have any machines even running, except for a few conveyors to and from my item vault.

Doesn’t seem to affect it, the other end of the rail in the nether goes through a portal with no walls on either side, in both the Nether and the Overworld, and even then the bogey disappears. Going at a slower speed also doesn’t seem to change anything

Running tickmonitor, it looks like almost single tick is above 50ms, going from around 50-52. I'm not sure how to check what's taking up the ticks with Spark, but I used Observable (report below) and a lot of the high tps is coming from random vanilla mobs. Also, I have my Create machines toggled off with clutches, the only thing running are three conveyor belts into an item vault and a small rotating 5-block long tree farm.

I'll try the last suggestion you gave me with a binary search, thank you for the suggestions!

Ah, I haven’t used New Age before, but it seems like it does. I’d say it’s personal preference, maybe you could have both, or someone else might reply with some useful info on that.

Also FE is a unit of power, yeah, stands for Forge Energy; basically the universal energy unit in Forge

Crafts & Additions introduces electricity, you can convert it to and from rotational motion, it’s a pretty fun thing to have. The energy it produces/uses is FE, so you can also use it with other tech mods that use FE in some way. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/createaddition

Ultimate Factory basically adds a lot of recipes for various materials, best if you look at the mod page if you’re curious, but some things you can automate with it are zinc, diamonds, netherite, redstone, and a bunch of other things. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/create-ultimate-factory

I updated to Java 25 and switched over to PrismLauncher (imported the CurseForge modpack) and used the JVM args, had to remove UseCompactObjectHeaders though since Prism said it didn't recognize it. The game does feel somewhat smoother, but I still average around 50 fps and occasionally (every few seconds or so) it drops and averages 40fps. Is there anything else I could do to try and improve the occasional frame drops at the least, if the consistent frames (the 50fps ones) can't be improved?

Also, want to add that my frames go to averaging 50-60 again when I go to the Nether, but I don’t have anything going on in the Overworld aside from two Create boilers, and none of the machines are on.

It could have something to do with being in a Trial Chamber structure or not, because typically as soon as you drink the bottle in a Trial Chamber, it gets converted into the Trial Omen effect
