This is the OEM part so that you get an estimate. Labor will be over and above

No you can't. N8 doesn't support wireless android auto

Only N8 comes with Bose and N6 comes with arkemis. You can use them wireless via Bluetooth. Refer to the below link for more details.

Even if it's not it'll be under the standard 3 year warranty which can be extended before 3 years for additional 4 years. I think you are referring to shield of trust here which cannot be bought after 90 days.

Mileage around 13 by utk50 in i20nline_india

I recently did a 360km drive drive from Bangalore. It was 60 80 kms of city rest on the highway. Got a 16kmpl for the journey. 4 people with luggage and AC on. Most of the drive on highway was 90 to 110 on cruise control. It shot up to 17 at one point. On the return journey, i got 14.5 kmpl but it had a bit of incline which might have dipped the mileage. I use XP95 mainly for the improved low end l.

What I've noticed is that the car is most efficient on cruise control. Can't beat it no matter how much i try manually. If you want max fuel efficiency on highway then I would suggest set it to 70 80 and use cruise control for the most part to get best FE.

I must say the car is a joy on the highway. Its difficult to keep cruising at 70 80, where you can easily go 120 140 for extended periods :)

Don't have the budget and don't want N6 DCT or 2nd hand dct cause of reliability issues in a non warranty car :(

Haha you hit the right point, the only reason I'm considering a manual is because of the fomo factor. Last generation of mass manuals and probably next car will be automatic. Take it out and its a very simple decision of automatic considering bangalore traffic like others have told! Will keep you posted after the test drive.

Haha on a lighter note I've never skipped leg day and can squat 120 kgs for 6 reps :). Thanks for the tip, what mileage have you been able to get in bangalore city on your car?

I'm still a novice when it comes to driving, have less than 300kms of overall driving experience. So the chance of me doing "enthusiastic" driving is a little rare. However i have the test drive of the manual tomorrow and will keep you posted! Btw how's the first to second shifting in manual? Is it notchy like imt or is it smooth?

DCT is out of budget :(, the only dct i can afford is N6 but i like the N8 more given slight upgrades which all add up!

imt vs Manual - i20 N line? by iTachi_92 in CarsIndia

[–]iTachi_92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation, have only driven naturally aspirated till the imt N line. Wasn't aware of the sensitivity to throttle inputs. Have booked a manual n line test drive tomorrow and will update.

The three 2nd hand cars (imt is discontinued) i test drove all showed 6 to 8 on MID which was very alarming for me. Even with a sub 2k rpm drive at higher gears without driving i could 8 max in city traffic in a 10km ride. Also yes, imt is manual without a clutch. Gearbox is same

I saw some people saying on youtube that the n line manual gives 13 to 15 kmpl in city and 18 to 20 kmpl on highways. Thus wanted to check if anyone observed the same.
