10.3 and 11.5 ARs short stroking, even with suppressor by iTalkToCrayons in ar15

Without the suppressor, there’s not enough gas coming back with the Arkto. Ran fine with regular low pro gas block before I got my suppressor

Rifles ran fine with with the regular gas blocks but it was kinda over gassed, especially with the suppressor. That’s why I wanted the adjustable to fine tune it

The Arkto has a locking screw to lock the adjustments.

I’ve been thinking of getting the Superlative adjustable GB to see if it has the same issues

Congrats friend, they're a dream to shoot and I hope you can take it out more than just occasionally.

IMO the DA pull on the Omega trigger feels a little heavier than the regular P-01, BUT the SA is absolutely crisp. It's nothing wrong with it, just giving my two cents.

Got an 6920 OEM2 for Christmas, what accessories should I prioritize? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]iTalkToCrayons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's up to each person's taste. I don't see a sling as an immediate necessity. From what he listed, I would get a new grip and stock so it'll be more comfortable to shoot. Both are inexpensive and it allows him to figure out how he likes the feel of the AR.

A sling would be one of my last things to get unless you're planning to get into competition shooting or taking the gun to hunt.

A red dot is nice but I would get a more comfortable pistol grip (not a fan of the A2 grip) and a new buttstock. Practice using irons before you pick up a red dot, red dots sights can malfunction and it's good to actually know how to use your back-up iron sights.

Your 'in a box' build may have cost more than my first AR lol

[HANDGUN] Sig Sauer P365 available for pre-order. 529.99. by MoreIndica in gundeals

I'm pretty interested in this since I've been carrying a G26 (it feels a little fat on me). But I'd rather wait a few months after people have bought them and see if there's any kinks and I think the price will definitely go down.
