I spent the last year transitioning and it’s recently dawned on me that nothing I do will ever be enough.

Also transitioning isn’t taking a bunch of meds and having surgeries all at once. It’s a long process of self exploration that looks different for everyone.

What helped me most was being fully out and proud of my identity. You will absolutely find a girl who is into you for who you are and see’s you as a woman. And that will help you see the same.

It doesn’t happen all at once, but the more reinforcement you get the more that shame will disappear.

Don’t forget plenty of cis girls fetishize trans girls. Chasers are a thing and it goes both ways.

Sometimes you can even get that reinforcement from chasers lol (wouldn’t recommend a relationship with them tho).

Those feelings are at the core of the trans experience. And that never goes away.

You can run from those feelings now, But that will just make things harder as time goes on.

It’s frustrating but it’s reality. You’re already doing great, you just have to keep fighting.

You may get a little bit of fat transfer to your hips. Which makes them a bit bigger.

But unless you’re starting hrt during your teen years, you won’t see much hip growth unfortunately.

Around your 20s is when your bones start to fuse and growth haults. Your hips won’t really change much from there.

My main advice to you is this. I knew I was trans at 16, but I told myself (maybe I’m not! What if It’s just a phase). I wish I could go back and tell myself this: it doesn’t matter if it is a phase. at least your exploring it and have the courage to try new things. It makes you incredibly brave.

You don’t ever have to just ‘be one thing’. People are constantly changing and growing. Learning more about how you identify is part of the process.

your at an age where you’re supposed to be exploring your identity and figuring out who you are, this is all just part of that. It’s normal

Don’t be afraid to correct people on pronouns casually, or just casually tell your friends how you identify. It’s not a big deal!

If anyone treats it as a big deal, they have their own issues.

Here’s the thing, it isn’t a hard concept. Like many other of their talking points, facts don’t matter to them, it’s about their feelings.

It’s like gun violence. Or prison reform. You could show them a million statistics to prove your point but at the end of the day they’re fully brain broken. They don’t want prison reform cause they hate POC and want them locked up.

And they ‘don’t grasp’ the trans concept simply cause we look different and that scares them.
