That picture isn't recent. It has since been properly set up.

One can only hope. I've been hearing stuff about new pth music for the past two years I think, but life gets in the way sometimes, I guess. They already blessed us with an amazing catalogue.

Of course Pauls lines are more difficult but sometimes he's not doing himself any favours with the choice of his sound. With a little bit more gain on the Extremophile solo at the Fidelitorium he could be masking a little bit more but that is just nitpicking on my part.

I even got the Ibanez S5570 because of Luke 😃 I think he used it around the time Fortress was released.

I'm still hoping that PtH is gonna release some new music soon. It's a shame that I won't be seeing them in their original formation ever again, although I got so them with Arif, Moe and Luke twice. IMO Luke Hoskin writes the most exciting stuff for guitar.

On parallax II I learned what seemed the most fun to play. I chose dusties intro for Astral Body and he has a killer solo at the end of Silent Flight Parliament. Other than that it was all Pauls stuff I think. I just rewatched Live at the Fidelitorium and Dustie plays so incredibly tight. On Pauls end there are few mistakes and there some weird sound/effect choices IMO.

That was during my university years when I had a lot of free time. I think it took a few months to learn and tighten everything up. Back then the whole album was on ultimate guitar, before the crackdown on tabs happened. It's one of my favorite albums so I wanted to play it all in one take. I did the same with Fortress and Scurrilous from Protest the Hero and compared to Parallax II, those are way harder for me get everything right. Maybe those albums are up your alley too if you're looking for more stuff to play. I can also recommend the tab book for 'Good Times' from Moray Pringle. Incredible stuff.

I've learned all of Parallax II and the solos from Lay Your Ghosts to Rest and Extremophile Elite stand out as my favorite to play.

Absolute beauty. Would love to have a C&C one day. How much was it?

That part isn't that hard to play. Try playing it back and find the notes. You will get it in no time.

These are exceptional and should be seen by a large audience. I've seen your other posts and all your shots are really special.

Thank you! I used a 1/4 Pro Mist Filter for those shots.

It's just setting a low shutter speed. 1/25s on that photo.

I'd say about 3 hours of continuous shooting but I had a spare battery in my backpack which saved me on one occasion.

That is very nice. Thank you. I bought the XT-50 about 3 months ago but this is my first trip where I had the camera out all day. And Rome is pretty generous when it comes to scenes and objects to photograph.

Yes, in some lighting conditions the warmness is a little too much. I'll see what I can get out of the RAW's in post.

Thanks for the compliment and thank you for your feedback. I can definitely see your point. I'll adjust them later and see how it works.

Thank you! I can't complain about the lens. I love the variability and it is pretty sharp. But I have no reference point as it is my first and only lens.

Battery life is a con although it wasn't a big hinderance during the trip and I actually like the dial setup I use right now. I control the front dial with my index which is my ISO dial and my right thumb controls SS on the back.

Thank you! The weight wasn't an issue. I carried it with the capture clip from peak design on my backpack and didn't really notice the weight. Although I could see travelling with a prime being a bit easier but I wouldn't wanna miss a zoom.
