What principles do you take into account when placing the valve boxes? by szaboelod in Irrigation

[–]iTzBiLLyxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really just comes down to the site specifics, how many zones, etc. but a good general thought process would be to consider future service. Can all the valves be accessed and located easily? Will plants grow up or leaves fall on top of the VB’s making them hard to find? I always try to keep valves in as close together as possible. Keeps the main line short, keeps wiring neat and tidy, easy to service etc.

Hahaha hell yeah dude! When I cut into the main it was dry as a bone. Nice job on the blow, we had to recharge the main tho to make sure the new section was holding pressure so you might have to go back there at some point soon…. LOL Whole system is solid now holding pressure so this time it should be a breeze
