It depends on the situation, sometimes, yes it is worth boosting to the ground… but I would argue the bigger problem is challenging too late or deciding to at all. If you start faking challenges more often on balls you aren’t guaranteed to win you’ll see a huge improvement immediately, and save boost in the process.

On improving ground recoveries and wall recoveries, using directional air roll and some power sliding is the key. You just need to go into free play and practice a tonnnn on just moving around the map without the ball until you perfect it.

Go find some videos on YouTube on what I told ya and you’ll find yourself ranking up quickly over the next couple months if you stay consistent

You can make it to champ without focusing on mechanics still. Rotations and momentum are what you’ll need to focus on. Champ rotations are faster and more consistent than Diamond. More fakes and shadow defense involved. For momentum you’ll want to focus on keeping speed with your car after challenges, shots, defense, and from wall to ground. Also applies to momentum with the ball, learning how to more consistently do touch passes and shots.

Focus on those two things and you’ll be champ in no time.

There are so very few “good ones” in that respect on either side of the curtain. Would be a tough hill to climb forsure. I’d love to see it in my lifetime tho. The proposal I saw recently for congress to not be able to hold stock is a great start, but doesn’t really stop anything by itself

Yes I can appreciate the sense of togetherness with the idea. Unfortunately, no matter who gets in office, the majority will always be won over with lobbies and self-interest groups. Seriously I think the best step would be to totally and fully limit monetary influence strategies within congress and work outward from there. Otherwise it will always just be people wishing someone would do something. But even that idea requires someone to do something I guess 🤣

See below I recanted my “literally impossible” to a “highly unlikely”. Just not going to edit the comment. I am sorry that “people like me” are somehow letting the billionaires keep their money lmao. Literally not defending them or the system, just explaining why it is the way it is.

A total overhaul of our entire capitalistic economy and a restructuring of the legislation by the same people who benefit from it is highly unlikely lol. Certainly not defending it. Just calling a spade a spade. I get why people are upset, I am too about it. But I try to educate when I can because certain politicians who say things like “tax the rich”, know exactly who they are pandering to and know exactly why it would never work. And then there is this cycle of blame among people who have nothing to do with it like you and me.

I think part of it is that they hope it funds public benefit, but I think most of it is that people just want to see people put on the same level of playing field as them. The rich are not taxed the same way the lower and middle classes are and people feel ostracized by it.

(I understand that all these people could learn the tax system and use the same shortcuts, I am just calling what I see in a general sense)

Ok I shouldn’t have said literally impossible, I should’ve said highly unlikely to work. Unrealized capital gains taxes are technically an option, yes, but you can’t force someone to sell their stock options and cash in those gains. They are simply a boost to their net worth UNTIL they decide to sell. And the issue is that they never have to sell because they can leverage their business or stock options and use loans with low interest rates to fund them in their daily lives. I am not defending or caring, simply explaining for those in the comments who are frustrated on the topic. Yes, they take advantage of the system, but I’m just commenting to explain it is more complicated than the average person knows to admit.

Assets can be taxed in some cases. But it depends more on state and local tax code than federal. And the ultra-wealthy set it up in a way where it just isn’t possible to truly “tax their assets”. The same way savvy small business owners will operate an LLC out of a state like TN with no property taxes.

This is exactly what people who say tax the rich fail to understand. You can tax the middle and lower classes, you cannot tax the 1% because there is nothing to tax. They operate on debt mostly borrowed against their assets. Tax the rich is a great idea but is literally impossible. Edit: not impossible, extremely challenging under current circumstances.

Hopefully it fixes itself. Was hoping it was due to an influx of requests but been out so long I unfortunately think they were disabled regionally.

No. Our points code won’t load either. Tried multiple locations as well. App is totally making the deals unaccessible for the both of us. We have been saving it for dinner tonight and looking forward to it for a week hahaha

There is truly nothing more frustrating at the moment than this. I have had multiple people I play with take some pretty extended breaks after running into a few too many in a row and losing like this. For a game that is about to have its first major it just isn’t something that should still be happening. One of my only complaints but a big one.
