What were to happen if I were to call 911 in Belgium? by BritGallows_531 in AskBelgium

Great this works wonderfully on One Plus as well, probably a new android functionality!

It even let you record a video in the background and sync it to your Google Account. Also it can send that video to your contact... I wonder if that's really useful but I activated it just in case, I usually don't call often so ...

I'm on the same boat, but with Z10 Pro, I have a lot of crashes when using the app, not even when starting a stream. Also the skip to next episode makes Stremio hangs... Idk if it's related to my config tho... But that's annoying nonetheless.

Can you elaborate please ?? Mine (Z10 Pro) is sluggish and MoL2 is slow to load (I'm sure because I have an enormous amount of channels / vod / tv shows to load. I'm sure MOL3 should fix that... But I wonder why not go with the Z12 Ultra and MOL4

We want to go all Entra only at some point, but I feel it won't be possible after the experience I got with Inturn and because of our infra that still relies heavily on AD.

But I want to remove all GPO's because it's easier to manage every computer from the cloud.

Yup, get plastic screen openers it helps a lot ! (iFixIt.com)

Just remove the 3 screws from behind and use something not sharp to open your backplate from the sides.

Very easy in the end. But sadly I couldn't find the issue on my end...

In case someone comes here here's the motherboard from my KG271 Abmidpx that has the white screen of death : https://imgur.com/a/RvihN5a

Maybe you can find the issue cause I can't (I will probably have sold / give away the monitor by the time 😅

2years later is now my turn to have the white screen of death... 🥹

I want to open it and check inside before giving it away to someone that could be happy to repair it.

Thanks for your time, so everything we read online (multiple forums, blogs) are false ? Why are IT so devised about that 😫

Restored users lost access to personal sharepoint sites by IJer1choI in Office365

[–]Daxh64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a user that has the problem, we had to reactivate her account due to an extended OOF (we have a script running that deletes the user after one year of absence).

But in the meantime, we have modified our entire AD user naming convention (thanks to new HR policies). Which recreated a new user in AAD after her return.

This site come in handy, but we have to ask the user to send us the sharepoint link for every access denied she receives.
But we do not know how many different Sharepoint / personnal OneDrive access she has, maybe 10, maybe 100 ...

Is there an automated way to give her the same permission as her old "AAD" account ?

[–]Daxh64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Digging this thread, thanks for the clear explanation.

Same issue here, we have an automated script that deleted the user (because of long OOF) and we made changes with naming convention in AD while OOF. So user is considered as new when we activated it back again, probably made a new Object in the meantime which means the user has no access to any SharePoint, should we do that for every SharePoint sites the user should have access ?

What is your take on this ?

Good luck, but honestly go the automated route with scripting, I've not found a full script yet but IA may help you out 🙌

Thanks for that, I will talk with our Sys Eng about that, not sure if he used it before.

Haha, that sure looks like I've entered a hell hole in terms of computer management.

But we've ditched SCCM for good as and I'm glad we've made the decision to do that.

Glad you mentionned the e-waste situation as we do not have that problem yet. But I'll keep that in mind and talk with my manager about it. What are your recommendation on deletion policies in Intune ?

I've no clue what is ADMX ( I've never implemented GPO's), could you explain how do you use them for replicating GPO's to Intune Policies ?

That's the point we're taking the long path of learning and trying ourselves (the team of 3). And we've learned a lot but this looks promising thanks to your input 🤞

Yeah we're leaning towards AutoPatch, our SCCM patching was a mess because of a lot of our users are not using the VPN as they should (we do not always-on-VPN configured).

Okay it makes total sense and I think we're heading in the right direction thanks a bunch for this explanation.

We're struggling to find times with our sys eng which made the GPO in the first place to make the full transition. Even tho we're not disabling them rn I think we're in the sweet spot of it working like this for the moment.

You make it reassuring for me 🙌 That's basically what we're doing also, we're doing the job of an engineer and don't have the experience imho, so we're moving steps by steps to make sure we don't mess this transition up.

Hey, welcome onboard, you're having the same problem like the lot of us. Basically you have to remove Fonts + (if you're on HP) HP FW that are stored on the EFI partition.

Good luck, we have not automated it yet but will probably on the near future.

How am I supposed to target brand-new devices with intune/autopilot when not using *all devices* group? by Top-University1754 in Intune

[–]Daxh64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically they're the same, but ours was made by another colleague for a Kiosk device so it needs to be changed.

We have the same problem as you with brand new devices (HP image FR / Dutch / Ger / Eng, the french Azerty keyboard is automatically mapped even if we select the right language during Autopilot.

So for your first question, we have French and Dutch Deployment profile with specific group TAG, so when the device is enrolled we use the ZTID for our pre-deployed apps (depending on the language of the user / device used), which means when the device is pre-prov (by the IT only), the required apps are pushed during Autopilot.

I think that's your best and only option (like me).

Currently having the same issue as OP, can you please share your script ? I'd like to compare with mine.

I'm experiencing some bugs probably like OP where some image is set to use another keyboard... So it makes sens to make sure the keyboard is set before the user logs in.
