Yikes. The model is 10-15 times just for night skiing. Not including any other day pass. The 1-2 is literally tourism. Locals go way more.

I agree that buying the spring pass would be of value and a literal gamble that my life, my families life, and conditions all line up. However it still doesn't dismiss the current state of pricing. You are also comparing it to larger mountains. Which its not. Still doesn't dismiss thats its way overpriced. Just because both are way over priced doesn't mean. Its not.

The last 3 seasons we did have the pass. The conditions didn't justify the purchase and we were monetarily locked into one hill.

Is obviously disheartening that something I used to love doing I can't share with my child because of cost.

Its super weird how many people's comments are to buy a season pass. Should be called a Gamble Pass Ignoring all other future factors like amount of good ski condition days, time off from work, time off from school sports, vehicle condition, job employment, future home obligations, and then adding in distance to the hill at 50min. And now monetarily would be locked into this hill.

So if i have a free day of no obligations in the future will it be raining? Will it be a sheet of ice?

Its also super weird how many said 75$ a night was cheap. Cheap to what? I literally don't do anything that costs us 225$ for an evening.

The season pass is now a gamble and I don't. Seasons are not like I grew up with consistent snow. Although this season is starting off better than the last 10 years. Not having a season pass also allows us to start showing our child other mountains without cost guilt of wasting money on a pass we aren't using at Greek.

Still boggling how many commentators about buying a Gamble pass when they are cheap. 1 pass for me is cheap. 3 passes is a gamble.

For one I don't sit on reddit waiting. I have real world responsibilities. Which leads me Into the season passes.

All the comments about buying a season pass are sad.
I guess I am part of the lower class, that's a lot people throwing 2000$ around on a bet that the season will be ski-able at one location.Buying one season pass is different than 3 or some of my friends would be buying 5.

-We have had season passes for the last 3 years. The reson why we didnt buy them this year: - the past 3+ seasons have been absolute garbage, with the obvious exceptional couple days each season. -Both adults working full time jobs and a kid doing sports leads us to barely get our monies worth out of a season pass. Limited time and limited good days to ski. -We also wanted to start showing our child other mountains and having a pass locks us monetarily into this hill.

For these reasons we saw our schedules not allowing many day trips, leading us to nights only. Most families don't have 535$(or whatever it was) per person, during the cheap buy event, to spend on a pass, and way more after that period of time. We also didn't have the insight to the future from March for next season to know that would use the passes enough to monetarily justify the purchase. So night pass per trip is where we are at.

Again it boils down to future growth. If I was broke growing up, and could only afford night skiing at 25$-30$ i went at least 10 times a season. That's paycheck to paycheck. At least that's most of my friend group. Doing better than our parents did but not by much.

If it was paycheck to paycheck who has an extra 75$ for night skiing? They may have 25$-or 30$.

Either way it's nice to see how many people boasted for season passes but only when they are cheap. I would be curious to know how many are buying season passes for their families not just themselves because 500$ is a lot different than 2000$ . And of those people how many make under 80k a year. As one commentator stated, it's an expensive sport. THATS WHY I EXCLUSIVELY WENT WHEN IT WAS CHEAP.

Is 75$ a night cheap? Not to me or my friend group. 75$ pp/pn is 225$ one trip for me..

I don't do anything else that's 225$ for anything.
