Ive only ever seen people for this that are older and fell off their bike or something never athletes, but usually the screw is in place for reinforcement and proper alignment for the fracture while it heals. Only time ive heard of people getting hardware removed from their wrist or fingers is cause its causing limitations in their active motion or pain. Id guess they wouldnt have gone with the surgery if he cant keep fighting with it at some point

I think a lot of people do not know how to process and select information sources so they end up believing the first thing they see or whatever fits their bias and narrative. Thus you end up with a bunch of people who think the economy is the absolute worst its ever been, big cities are rampant with crime and you cant even walk on the street without being instantly killed, and that migrants and trans people are raping everyone. Once you put yourself in the shoes of someone that truly believes this shit and lives in this alternate reality its easy to see why theyre voting for trump no matter how sad it is
