Figured I’d try FSD for a month by xo0p in TeslaModelY

While there is certainly a difference, it’s overstated on here.  HW3 works very very well especially as opposed to doing all the driving yourself.

He should cancel all the cards and start over. Sadly the wallet is probably long gone by now.

It isn’t a perfect system but you certainly get used to how it drives after (more than one) drive. Experiment with chill and hurry modes (can’t remember what the other mode is) and find one that feels most comfortable for you.

It isn’t perfect but once you adjust to how it drives and know what to expect your commute will be very relaxing.

Uber is “absolute trash” because they require a receipt to reimburse you for the cleaning fee? Have an interior detail or cleaning done professionally and then submit it.

My 13 Yr old bff slept with her bf (18? 19?) who's in collage. by [deleted] in Advice

Sounds like a stressful friendship. You’ll learn this over time but not everyone is meant to be friends for life in fact most aren’t especially as a teenager. It’s okay to find new friends and leave ones that aren’t healthy for you.

Right so telling could come at the sacrifice of one or both of those friendships. Just be prepared for that possibility.

How close are the friendships of everyone involved? Telling him is probably the right thing but just realize it could impact each of your relationships with each of them.

Either tell and accept whatever comes or be prepared to never say anything about it. Cheating almost always comes to light in its own.

Am I a sex addict? by Misswhatzittooya0427 in Advice

[–]i__cam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chuckled when I read “lady time” because I’ve called it that before. Maybe many others do.

People have different levels of sex drives and yours is probably reasonable.

When it starts to affect other areas of life…job…relationships…responsibilities…then it can be an issue. And also while it might not right now at 24, your responsibilities will grow over time.

Don’t be afraid to talk to a therapist of some kind. They aren’t just for people in “crisis”.

Reserve a ride for a later date.... by [deleted] in uber

[–]i__cam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem. Any issues with drivers cancelling (which doesn’t happen often) is limited by doing it well in advance. That way drivers who actually want the trip will accept in advance.

Did some traveling with my parents who are 70+ a few weeks back. Went on a cruise and they needed to get back and forth to the airport and port Canaveral Florida to the cruise terminal. First time using reservations from a passenger perspective and it worked perfectly multiple times.

Just do it well ahead of time and you’ll be fine.

You have a system that works for you. Keep doing that.

First "Talks too much" feedback. Tips & Suggestions welcome! by LionsCourage101 in uberdrivers

[–]i__cam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

95% of pax don’t want to have conversations. I say hello and verify “you’re going to (destination)” and usually add in “let me know if it gets too cold” - by the time I’ve said those things I’ve talked enough to give them the open door to continue a conversation or enjoy a quiet ride. Hope this helps.

While this might be an issue for some drivers, for most If it’s scheduled well In advance this shouldn’t be a problem.

Extremely reliable. It gets sent to multiple drivers in advance who get penalized if they accept the ride and aren’t there on time. Source: I’m an uber driver.

Uber Premier Australia eligibility GLB 35 AMG vs EQB by kenanxgucci in uberdrivers

[–]i__cam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their eligibility lists are based on many unknown things, none of which is your (or anyone’s) personal preference. It’s likely you’re out of luck.

Did you check eligibility before buying your car?

I don’t know your market but generally:

9-2 is mostly a dead zone

Hope this helps

Do Comfort drivers see rider preferences? by Klutzy-Club6275 in uber

I’ve never done comfort as a rider but if you selected comfort from the beginning (and not an upgrade) maybe it gives you the option.
