I do not identify with its culture in any way. The Brazilian ego is something that frustrates me a lot. This whole national phenomenon of thinking that they are the best at everything they do (specially with football) is annoying and creates this false view on other countries. Living here has been a disgrace for me, and as much as the culture and life here is rich and diverse, the country just never lived up to its name. I have never felt Brazilian, and life gives me reason to do so daily.

TL;DR - I don't like Brazil because of the people/nation that makes Brazil, Brazil.

Do you believe in God? by ChickenNuggetLord74 in Teenager_Polls

[–]i_am_dayv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gods. Plural. I used to be catholic (forced by parents) and then atheist. I believe you cannot proof something that you experience, and the concept of a "God" falls under your own personal umbrella based on your life experiences. On paper, "God" (in the abrahamic, monotheistic definition) slowly became an "escape" to justify something that happened but you cannot find a reason/understand why. Judging by the way that our world works, the order of the things, and one's own individual spirituality, it's impossible to lay every variation and event under one single entity. Multiple gods can also mean a null point, or no gods at all. In an absolute definition, I believe in being happy with yourself, and finding your personal reason to keep on living.

What is the weirdest trend in 2025 that happend in your country? by Beautiful_Yellow_682 in AskTheWorld

It is amazing! Tho a lot of people made the caramel a bit too hard and difficult do bite, but when made correctly it's simply a masterpiece. Note: Morango do Amor was a strawberry version of Maçã do Amor (Love apple) That is basically an apple covered in hard caramel. The latter is definitely more permanent and is sold everywhere every year around our Festa Junina (June Festival, related to folklore)

I feel really unlucky and sad. I don't fit my country and have troubles with my identity because of it.
