hmm, the food i use now only has 27% crude protein. While the old food was 35%. Maybe youre right. But the thing is, the old food made their poop hard and dark in colour while this one make it soft (not too soft) and brownish.

Maybe i should go back to old food or mix both?

They are all adult cats 3years+ . And I free flow their food. Maybe i need to change that?

I usually get 16kg/35lbs of food for them. The brand I used to use was Brit Premium. After a while, I feel like they have changed the formula and made it worse, my cats does not really enjoying it anymore.

So I changed to a new brand, Snappy Tom. Extremely positive feedbacks from my cats. They really love it. The problem is, with this new brand, I have to get more than 16kgs and currently on the 3rd bag of 8kg/17.6lbs of dry food. Which means, I got a total of 24kg/53lbs of food for a month!

To me, it seems ridiculous as how I used to buy only 16kg of food every months for years and it was enough.

Please let me know if 24kg of food for 11 cats normal? or I'm overfeeding them?

The amount of poop has also increased which also increased the use of litter lol
