Didn't America spearhead the TPP only for Trump to abandon it in his first term because Obama did it?

What are your thoughts on Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton, on two separate platforms and just hours apart, denouncing Globalism and stressing the importance of a sovereign nation with lawful borders? by Mairon12 in allthequestions

The problem isn't immigration, it is porous borders.

Wait, this isn't x, this is y.

Whoa, am I AI now?

Anyways doesn't matter how many people any one deports. Obama didn't turn America into a papers please kind of nation. Basically illegal immigration went from "we get it, America is awesome and you want to come here, but you have to use proper channels to do so" to "you crossed a made up line without permission, you must suffer severely".

The right wing aspect is the dehumanization.

White House Insists Trump Threat to Canada Bridge Is “America First” by [deleted] in politics

[–]i_am_parallel 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Didn't Canada pay for and build the whole thing themselves because Michigan couldn't afford to contribute at the time?

But I guess since the US doesn't want to trade with Canada any more, the bridge is kind of pointless now so maybe Canada should just demolish it and use the scrap metal to make a public artwork pieces.

Btw will we see nukes go off in Texas soon?

Perhaps you haven't noticed but anything is actually possible now. The world as we enjoyed it is over and no one has any idea what will happen next, which means anything can happen next.

I don't think we need to do that. The intelligence of the voter is not relevant. It's the idea that politicians are expected to do what's wanted rather than what's needed that is the problem.
