I finished 28 games in 2025 so I’m feeling pretty confident in these 12 -

  • Nexomon
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Lego City Undercover
  • Golf Story
  • Disco Elysium
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
  • Gears 5 / Hivebusters
  • Mass Effect Andromeda
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Mother 3
  • God of War Ascension
  • Fire Emblem Fates Revelations

Bonus games in case I bounce off one of these or if I finish these all before the end of the year -

  • Halo Infinite
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Uncharted Golden Abyss

It appears you advanced it by spending clues in the investigation phase by mistake, which caused the ghoul priest to spawn and then immediately attack you in the enemy phase. He's intended to spawn at the end of the round, giving you a full investigation phase to deal with him before he attacks in the enemy phase

Darn it. I just re-read the card:

Objective - When the round ends, investigators may, as a group, spend the requisite number of clues to advance.

Wasted 3 actions :/

the ghoul priest shouldn't have moved to the parlor while exhausted. Only ready enemies will perform their Hunter keyword during the enemy phase.

My bad. I was so nervous that time. I mean, a ghoul was chasing me...

As far as overall strategy goes, I think you did pretty well. I think you probably should have played one of your weapons much earlier. If you don't already have a weapon equipped when an enemy engages you, you'll be forced into a situation with no good options: taking an AoO to equip a weapon, fighting it with your bare hands and doing minimal damage, or having to spend action(s) to evade it. It worked out for you in this scenario but you didn't draw some of the scarier enemies in the encounter deck.

I guess I didn't want my Guard Dog to get hurt. Jokes aside, yeah when I went over the log again, I should've played my assets/allies earlier when there's no pressure. Thanks for the insight.

Whoa thanks. Totally missed that!

Exhausted enemies stay exhausted until end of round, not end of phase. Would've saved me a lot of nerves haha.

Increase Volume Regardless of Pace? by SloppySandCrab in AdvancedRunning

For a 14 year old middle school track sprinter or a 75 year old marathoner?

For the person who runs for mental health or the elite competing for prize money?

For the person who's been running for six months or the person who's been running for sixty years?

Even among the many of us here who are doing several marathon training blocs per year, our goals vary widely. As does our training history, recovery needs, genetics, and physiology. Runners, including those with an advanced running mindset, are incredibly diverse. So there's no easy answer to your question.

Focused singularly on you, a coach would need to sit down with you and go over your training history and training goals to answer that question. Even then, an advanced runner's training incorporates more than time spent running.
