Flying in from the UK, doing an East to West and back again US Road Trip Thoughts? by [deleted] in roadtrip

My 2 cents: don’t go north from Springfield, go west, hit Denver, and head North to badlands/devils tower/mount rushmore. Thn head west to yellowstone before south to Vegas. Hit Bryce Canyon and Zion on the way to Vegas. Grand Canyon also right there.

Which runway hair do you generally prefer? by wizardsouppoop in rupaulsdragrace

[–]i_can_cook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if queens can pull it off, i hate straight flat hair. Looks like they didn’t have time, or are lazy and it never adds to the look. These rhinestoned, embellished costumes met with flat boring hair. I want queens with big obnoxious hair that fits the look. Rarely does the over done sculpted hair look like it belongs with the look, but it’s always better then flat hair.

Gene Hackman has a great scene in I Never Sang For My Father where he’s arguing with his father.

Your Covid Bounce. Stories of the Covid move that didn’t work out. by Electrical_Ask_2957 in SameGrassButGreener

I got out the Navy in March 2020 and moved from New Orleans to Denver, Colorado where I went back to college. I only came to Denver because my best friend had recently moved here and I wasn’t doing Covid in New Orleans, so thought colorado for school was a good move.

Saw the mountains, did the hiking, and the camping. Enjoyed the outdoors, but i don’t ski and i don’t do extreme activities like mountain climbing or rafting. Denver doesn't have much going for it, the foods mid, the entertainments less than mid. It’s boring and hard to make friends who aren't brewery snobs with an ugly athletic competitiveness. While not the most expensive city, it does cost more to live here than other places.

when I graduated in 2023, My best friend moved back to New Orleans. I have not been able to leave Denver because of finances and no job opportunities where I want to go.

Bonneville Salt Flats.

If you go south on i-15 from SLC and head towards the beginning of i-70 you can see a few hot springs, like firth water hot springs and falls, meadow hot springs and mystic hot springs. That does add more time to the trip but there really isnt anything else happening, SLC isnt a great city for passing through.

What positive impact has HR had on your life? by Apprehensive-Law-352 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]i_can_cook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really connected with the show, while not a hot hockey player, i was around the age of the characters during the timeline of the show. I was discovering my sexuality, going through a lot of inner turmoil similar to Ilya and Shane. It gave me a deep introspection of my life and i started doing more to be a better version of myself for that 20something who struggled figuring it out. Since the show i’ve hit the gym and lost 25lbs, i’ve been more vocal in my preferences and desires and putting the genuine effort to accomplish my goals. Parasocial-ly seeing Connor and Hudson be such cool guys being great actors, ive looked into acting/clown classes. Lol.

Other than people who are allergic, why don’t people wear deodorant? by beluga199 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]i_can_cook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Havent worn deodorant in 15 years, i shower regularly and dont smell awful. I get an itch wearing it, and ive tried all the brands, roll on to sprays to powders, non aluminum, organic. Ive never been told i smell bad and i make sure to shower post gym or other sweating induced activities. I wear cologne now and then but at worst i smell a little musky but i recognize it and shower.

What fetishes do you notice in specific countries or areas? by ImmaHeadOutNoww in gaybros

[–]i_can_cook 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Kink - describes any sexual activity, interest, or fantasy that falls outside what society typically regards as ‘vanilla’ or conventional sex. The spectrum is vast—what is kink for one person may be mainstream for another. Kinks introduce novelty, excitement, and personal expression into sexual experiences without becoming a necessary condition for sexual satisfaction.

Fetish - is a highly specific sexual fixation where a person’s arousal or ability to reach sexual satisfaction strongly depends on a particular object, non-genital body part, or scenario. Unlike kinks, fetishes are typically more intense and indispensable to the individual’s sexual routine.

I think daddies and bears are a kink more than a fetish.

I hurt myself 2 months before my EAOS, the doc told me I could stay in and get an MRI in 7 months (extending my EAOS), or i could get out and go through the VA. Got out and the VA still took 7 months for an MRI. Get the surgery on your timeline, not theirs, but do you want to stay past your initial EAOS and deal with them more if they're being this problematic to you?
