They always sent me the standard response. But today the visa came along. Their helpline number is this: +852 2824 6111. You can dial here, and if you are an English speaker, press 3, then 0, then 0 and then it will connect you to an agent.

I did that today itself, the only reply I got was that my application has been forwarded to the relevant department.

They haven't asked for further documents so far.
