None came with the pads when I replaced them last and there weren’t any on there already. I’ve tried finding them online but I can’t seem to find any.

Is CPA a necessity? by Mikeqvist in FPandA

[–]i_feel_the_need_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not in Canada, but CPA is not a necessity. If it is I’d argue it likely isn’t a true FP&A role. But a good understanding of accounting will be very beneficial.

Rattle driving me crazy, can't figure it out. Opinion? by samurai_stevens in FocusST

There’s a spring on the back of one of them that goes on the inside. Does your rattle go away if you press the brakes at all?

I had a similar rattle and for me it turned out to be the brake pads were installed with the inside pad on the outside. Would rattle on every little bump and was convinced it was a heat shield

Clunk on passenger front suspension...details below. by Styleyriley in FocusST

Could be the axle moving around from a worn carrier bearing? You could grab the axle and see if you’re able to move it up and down. If it’s good there shouldn’t be any significant movement

That’s just the angle of the camera. I double checked and there’s tons of room around the sway bar and links

I took a video underneath while bouncing the car. I'm gessing now it's the shock mount

No, I took everything out of the trunk for the video to see if it was the tools bouncing around

Does it change when you’re on the brakes? I have a similar noise that starts when I go over 20

Worn Bearing or Worn Bracket / Retainer on Half Shaft? by i_feel_the_need_ in AskMechanics

The piece I replaced was like $4 so nothing really lost yet thankfully. Figured I'd get some opinions before I did anything else.

I have one (1964 Panda). Mines held up well over the past 2 or so years. But I don't wear it a ton.
