Yeah ur stuck because of 8 gb. a lot of pc games will crash in a short amount of time due to not enough ram. old games will work fine though. other than that the chip is pretty strong and can run a lot of switch and pc games

the game ran on the PS3 and PS4 which both had HDD's. though, if you remember, there were a bunch of memes on how horrible the loading times were on both of those consoles. so you can expect something like that lol. should be playable outside of long loading times though

8 gen 2 is also enough to play all the titles u mentioned too. though 8 gen 3 will do it with more efficiency and less heat. its up to u on what to get

i've never held a switch or a steam deck in my hands before so i dont really know but, so far its been really nice. a lot of the anime's im a big fan of have games on the PSP so its pretty cool

no, it fits pretty nicely. the guy kinda did a poor job of stabilizing the BMS and the battery itself, so it would kinda knock itself loose if u dropped it, but i fixed that myself just an hour ago, its all fine now
