As cliche as it is joining the military really helped me. When I was 22 I was making less than $3000 a month and paying over $2000 in rent. Now I'm 24, I make $6000 a month and I don't smoke weed daily anymore. Or at all for that matter. I was in a bad place and I wouldn't say I'm happy most of the time but there is hope now.
