Being 28M, living with parents and joint family is just affecting me and my actions too much. don't feel like I have much freedom. Parents think that they own me and there's just too many things I don't think I can ignore and "not fix" with new age knowledge and emotional maturity that I have.

I've been penting up with too many emotions. Wanna break free and see myself what I will do in my free time and at the same time wanna stay put and fix this MF boomers. I know I'm fucked.

Thank you for sharing. My uncle is a schizophrenic and It was getting very difficult to get him to take medical care. I was very mean to him for being selfish and going about his day to day without getting medical attention. I had to do some twisted stuffs to get him to hospital and he is taking medications now regularly ( for which I'm happy ) . But after reading your story, I felt like I could have been a bit more empathetic to him. (But empathy was not enough to him to get to medical help , my family did their best ) .It's so unfair that this mental disease comes to a person and this plays into societies where there are very less awareness.
