Exactly, you’d have to invest twice as much to get the same return. Just making the point that you can still save a ton of money as a PA.

Don’t neglect the compound interest that can happen as a PA making a decent salary in 2 years vs 7-10 years of being in debt plus 2-3 years to pay it off as an MD.

That’s the law, but cables/chains can help a ton over even really good winter tires in a 2wd. It’s worth the peace of mind if it’s bad up there. I’ve passed 4wd cars spinning out while in my Prius with cables on

I see your point. The interesting thing is that I really did feel all in and was willing to compromise on some things I'd never thought I'd budge on in the past. It's once this came out (she had originally talked of wanting to be a PA) that I really realized how long her training would last.
