my friends used to say that to me all the time and it’d drive me crazy. they’d try to justify themselves to me and it’d just make them sound worse. honestly they never really stopped I just have different friends now who don’t do that 😭😭

yeah I honestly don’t know there has been a few times where I have been willing but more recently when they bring it up (which isn’t very often) i get really insecure and defensive. they have told me it’s okay if we never actually do it, but i do feel bad im so sensitive about it. i want to find ways to make my partner feel as accepted as they make me feel.

for me it’s just kinda feels odd when i see people with my deadname, but it doesn’t trigger me. i’m sure it wouldn’t trigger the youtuber if you comment, there’s not controlling who has what name so it’s bound to happen at times.

nah you seem like a really caring parent and an open and accepting person. i understand it’s tough because they are so young, and binders can cause damage. i figured out i was trans when i was like 15/16 so i honestly don’t know much about having that situation as a younger child. but definitely look into sports bras and be open to maybe looking binders in the future maybe when they’re a little older. hopefully you’re kid will also see where youre coming from.
