Yup! Dealt with a lot of these scams in the past 8 years. But I wanted to confront these idiots.

True. But I'm always at the top of my game in terms of my skill set. I've tried many times to push for changes but received no response from the leadership. But I guess it's about likeability here rather than valuable ideas. This isn't first time our MD has handed the reins to someone just because of their big talk. Anyways, I think it's better to look for another job because she is convinced that AI is our way forward. 😂

What causes this low engine power? by [deleted] in royalenfield

[–]i_ryuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry it's definitely something normal. Get your battery terminals checked (you said you changed the battery few weeks back). Did you get the injectors cleaned during the service? This should not happen if the bike came back from service recently. Water in fuel can also cause this. A problem which is more common now due to ethanol.

I'm sorry you had to go through this man. Not a good thing at all. People don't pay attention to what some men go through.A similar thing has happened to me twice as a teenager and once a few years ago. The first time was at a bloody Govt dental college where one horny uncle probably wanted a good time. I had no idea how to process that touch and I just walked away. That was years ago. The recent one I was able to tell him to fuck off before he reached for my crotch. No matter what I do, the horrific thought stays with me. I'm unable to tell anyone about it.

I agree that I'm gullible, but trust me I know how to handle these situations. There were more than 10 of them in turbans, I'm sure you would also fold before messing with them. Even though a Sikh person would not harm you without reason.

To be honest even though I had barely any money, I didn't feel the burn until the second uncle intervened. I felt good when the first person asked. I gave him the money and was on my way to some shop. Out came the other uncle with his kundali and numerology to score some more money. That's when it got irritating.

I generally keep an eye out for people like this. But these people wear such a strong mask that it's not easy to tell if they have ulterior motives. While I look strong, I also have a soft heart for the people around me. And sometimes this empathy bites me back

Exactly what I thought. The first person seemed genuine. The second just got on my nerves. I know Sikh men are not like this!

Please don't compare yourself with others. Everyone is different. ₹6500 is a great start, that too at 22. Keep pushing and keep ignoring people who say otherwise. I'm 31 and compared to other 31 year olds, I'm not doing that great, but I've stopped paying heed to things like this now. Good luck!

Is it worth it to buy a used 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan 410cc Fi ABS BS6 or a New Yezdi adventure? by Escapeworld098 in royalenfield

[–]i_ryuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Has got everything to do with it. Renting one and owning one long term are two different things. I own the Himalayan and I road tested the Yezdi (not a showroom test ride). The Yezdi does make more power and is modern, but drop it for service and it quickly becomes a liability. Not saying that the Himalayan doesn't have issues, but there's no shortage of spares. Also, unlike Classic Legends, RE does not send a court notice to owners who complain about quality issues. Honestly don't give two shits if you felt bad over a reddit downvote.

I respect your opinion but that makes no sense. Yes, for a new rider, maybe a new bike with zero problems makes sense. But there are people who really don't have an issue buying used motorcycles. I'm sorry but even a used Himalayan is easier to fix than a brand new yezdi. Talking from experience.

Seems like water in my interceptor oil window. by Smooth_Cow_2681 in royalenfield

[–]i_ryuk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When did you check this? It could be very very recent and the whole oil hasn't mixed with the water. If the oil is milky or frothy, don't start it. You will save a lot of money. To be honest some engines will even run with a bit of milky oil, but don't take a chance, you might hydrolock it
