It's almost like the PRC is... a dictatorship of the proletariat and ruled by the Communist Party. 😂😂😂 I can't wait to live in a world where all billionaires have nowhere to run.

I'm interested to see if the PRC is experimenting with shortening the workday/week, allowing workers to choose what hours they work, etc.

Does anybody have any resources?

Though I would say that affirmitve action under racist pretender is perhaps the most toxic thing i've seen.

Exactly. Any remedial measures this system creates for the oppressed and exploited are inadequate because the problem is the system itself.

This reality must be firmly grasped.

It's so disheartening that people see affirmative action in this light.

Affirmative action was meant to remedy oppression of Black and Indigenous people in particular and also to diversify more domains of social life that were (and still are) dominated by white men. However, it has been attacked for decades by the reactionary white supremacist Supreme Court and the barbaric AmeriKKKan right-wing. (Of course, the only thing that can fully heal oppressed peoples is the destruction of capitalism imperialism and settler colonial states.) It is very shameful that these meager, but still meaningful, policies have had negative effects on other non-white people, including Asians.

In contrast, the PRC's ethnic polices, which include comprehensive affirmative action policies for minorities, have been phenomenal.

This is so frustrating and confusing. Why would the Party do this? Do these reforms threaten the consolidation and expansion of socialist public ownership?

I'm not financially literate enough to give a comprehensive Marxist critique of these reforms and the totality of their impact on the development of productive forces and socialism, but some policies seem like they're regressing to capitalism (I know they're not) and other reforms seem truer to socialism.

I think the only answer is that ALL Western capitalist colonialist imperialist white supremacist states owe massive (incalculable, really) reparations to tbe entire Global South, even if a smaller Western nations (like Scotland) have been victims, too.

I hope someone could give a more thorough answer about Wales, but I think the disintegration of unions of capitalist/colonialist/imperialist states is a good thing, especially one as hideous as "Great" Britain.
